The disadvantage of a highbay over a light line is the distribution of light. A large amount of light is bundled under the fixture. This type of lighting is also called point lighting. This creates a more uneven light display with more shadowing between fixtures. Highbays are therefore particularly suitable for very high ceilings.
With light lines, light is distributed evenly throughout the room. This makes it easier to comply with the guidelines prescribed by NEN Netherlands and creates a calm light image for employees in the workplace. Line lighting is therefore our preferred choice for industrial applications.
